Women's Ministry

L.I.F.T. (L
adies In Fellowship Together) is a women's ministry of TNC designed to facilitate growth in women's lives through their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage women to join in our activities and find out what God has in store for you as a woman of TNC. All ladies are always welcome at our monthly planning meetings on the second Thursday of each month at TNC. Please visit our Welcome Center for information on our events.

We wish you to join us at our 'Make It n Take It', Bible studies, or 'Itchin to be Stichin' group. All are scheduled at various times so there is something for everyone where we can meet, and develop friendships and be encouraged and supported by each other.

If you like to cook, we have many activities requiring cooking ane hospitality. Can you help working in our children's ministry and provide an opportunity for the new mothers to join us at our events? Are you interested in outreach, prayer chain, or compasionate ministries? There is always a place at the Tehachapi Church of the Nazarene for you.

If you are interested in a Bible study the Tehachapi Church of the Nazarene Women's Ministry has a simutaneous Bible study that meets on Tuesday Mornings at 9:30AM and at 6:30PM at the church, childcare is provided at both. So if you can't make it to the morning study you can get the same study in the evening.

The second Monday of each month at the church (in Wing 2),  the 'Itchin to be Stitchin' group meets to make a variety of items. Bring your own supplies, knitting needles, crochet hooks or anything else you wish to be working on. If you want to learn to knit or crochet, there is always someone who could teach you. Many of the ladies work collectively and make Comfort Quilts. In the past they have made and delivered quilts to those with long illnesses, losses in the family or other difficult circumstances.

On the second Thursday of every month at 6:30PM in Room 15/Wing 2,  the LIFT Council has their monthly meetings. These are open to any of the church women who wish to attend. Everyone is welcome.
